The programme included lectures, readings and discussions around the work of the contemporary writer on themes such as migration, femininity and feminism, refugees and exiles, memory, geographical and narrative spaces, teaching and translation.
By interrogating the connection between migration literature and politics, and writing as a woman across continents, Sinha's novels open up new perspectives on the spaces and identities that make up our world.
An anthology of the conference will be published in 2024.
We are pleased with the lively participation in this event, which was supported by the PICAIS Event Funding.
