Guest Lecture by Professor Iryna Honcharenko on “Trade in Agri-Food Products between Ukraine and the EU”

We are pleased to announce a PICAIS guest lecture by Professor Iryna Honcharenko (Mykolaiv National Agrarian University) on the topic of “Trade in Agri-Food Products between Ukraine and the EU” on December 8th, 2023, in room 117 HK 16 at the DPE at 1.30 p.m..

For 15 years, Iryna Honcharenko has been studying regional economy, specifically rural areas development.

Her lecture is part of the PICAIS research initiative by Prof. Dr. Alina Kasinska (Host: Prof. Dr. Andreas König) on Regional Development, Sustainability, and Nature Parks in Ukraine. 

The topics of Professor Honcharenko’s lecture will include:

1. Characterization of the agri-food sector in the Ukrainian economy
2. Indicators of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the EU
3. Implications of agri-food and trade for regional development in the Mykolaiv region
