From November 30 to December 1, 2023, the German-Ukrainian symposium "Defending Data, Connecting Countries: Building Cyber Resilience Together" took place on the occasion of the International Cyber Security Day.
The international symposium brought together researchers from various fields and aimed to discuss challenges and solutions for digital security. There was a lively exchange and intriguing discussions on the latest research findings, best practices and practical experiences in the field of digital security. The event was jointly organized by the University of Passau and the Faculty of Law of the National Yuriy Fedkovych University of Chernivtsi (ChNU) (Ukraine). The successful cooperation reflects the commitment of both institutions to advancing research in the field of digital security and promoting international cooperation. The participation of Ukrainian scientists as co-organizers of the event also underlines the importance of academic support for researchers in war zones and the promotion of peace through international cooperation.
