We are pleased to announce the appointment of three highly qualified experts as external members of our PICAIS Board as of April 2023. In the next two years, they will accompany and advise us with their expertise.
Prof. Dr Tilman Brück is Professor for Economic Development and Food Security at the Humboldt-University of Berlin. Additionally, he serves as a Team Leader at the IGZ (Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops) and is Founder and Director of the ISDC – International Security and Development Center.
Dr. Annette Meyer is Executive Director of the well-established and extensively networked Center for Advanced Studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (CAS LMU).
Prof. Dr. Birgit Neumann is Professor of English Literature/Anglophone Studies at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. She also holds the position of Managing Director of the Department of English and American Studies and serves as the Director of the Centre for Translation Studies. She has held various visiting professorships at international universities and is an elected member of several international academies and research centres (e.g. member of the Advisory Board of the "Centre for Comparative Studies" at the University of Lisbon and elected member of the Academia Europaea; Literary and Theatrical Studies).
We are delighted that Prof. Dr. Birgit Neumann, Prof. Dr. Tilman Brück and Dr. Annette Meyer are supporting our organisation. With their experience in organising research projects and working with international partners, they will bring valuable knowledge to the strategic development of the PICAIS.
